commit fb2c9bb68f2842a24be458e84734d6833c82e4bb Author: Ingo Korb Date: Mon Oct 5 21:18:01 2026 +0200 doscmd: check for error when opening destination of copy command Fix a hang caused by any error encountered while opening the destination file of a copy command by actually checking if the open call was successful. Bug reported by markusC64 commit 36a213e70c2c29fbe2423d00e694a10402cb4a80 Author: Ingo Korb Date: Mon Oct 5 21:09:27 2026 +0200 fatops: Treat going up in the root-dir as no-op The CMD drives ignore attempts to go to the parent directory while already in the root directory. While sd2iec uses this to unmount images, it could result in a spurious error when attempted on a FAT partition as they tend not to have a ".." entry there. Fix by just doing nothing in this case. commit 5e69551ce62860d4ff6f22cb17fa9f3f89324dfe Author: Ingo Korb Date: Mon Oct 5 21:06:02 2026 +0200 abort parsing paths when a chdir fails There were two unchecked chdir calls in parse_path that could in theory result in very weird behaviour if some intermediate component of the path failed. Fix by failing the parse instead, which also happens to match FD2000 behaviour. commit 64e71040bd53683e57310d1172ccd3817c0672e5 Author: Ingo Korb Date: Mon Oct 5 21:02:23 2026 +0200 parser: limit matching for CD to directories (mostly) The CMD FD2000 only matches directories when it traverses a path given to the CD command, so sd2iec should do that too - except for the last component, as it may be a disk image. commit 2fd48c01a238d168880188ba902fa0317223b73a Author: Ingo Korb Date: Mon Oct 5 20:55:06 2026 +0200 doscmd: Accept CD/ as request to jump to the root directory Make sd2iec's interpretation of "CD/" and "CD:/" align with the FD2000 behaviour, which jumps to the root directory while sd2iec used to ignore it. If any string follows the slash, it is still evaluated relative to the current directory as before. commit f9bccc967773e0ea6828e0eaa1cadefed3b230a4 Author: Ingo Korb Date: Mon Oct 5 20:46:50 2026 +0200 Fix accessing directories named left arrow A "CD/_" command should change into a directory named _ (left arrow), but was instead misinterpreted as a request to change into the parent directory. Fix by moving the left arrow interpretation up a layer and using NULL as an indicator to the *_chdir functions to change one level up. This aligns sd2iec's behaviour with the CMD FD2000.
